PCA Skincare + Skin Peels

Regular or a course of Skin Peels are an AMAZING way of taking care of your precious face and obtaining that Glowing and Youthful Skin, by exfoliating deeper than any cosmetic ever will.

By using a  Cosmeceutical Brand as oppose to just cosmetic, the Active ingredients are delivered deep in to the live Epidermis layer that then triggers change and repairs at the Dermis level.

Peels can reduce fine lines, plump and encourage Collagen Renewal, reduce Scars, Acne and Pigmentation and give you that Radiance back that you need if you really want that non Rinsing off glow.

PCA Skin, are clinically backed by research and science to develop safe and effective products that deliver healthy, beautiful skin. They have a ZERO animal testing philosophy and are formulated with ingredients naturally found in the skin and body for maximum biocompatibility. All products in the PCA range are free of; Parabens, Synthetic dyes, Synthetic fragrances, Mineral oil, Petrolatum, Lanolin and Phthalates.

I added Chemical Peels to my Clinic after I had had a couple and fell in LOVE with my SKIN! As a Aesthetics Nurse I am fascinated by Skin and its renewal process, including the ageing process and how it can be halted and even reversed if you take daily care of your skin. I never intentially set out to become Makeup free, but fancied reducing the reddening in my cheeks, but the impact it had on my confidence and self-esteem was second to none... Your SKIN (aka one of Your largest and most EFFICIENT organ!) deserves to be HEALTHY, making it as resistance and efficient as possible and YOU deserve to wake up feeling confident and empowered with RADIANT Skin, applying Makeup as an Option, NOT to cover up.

I suggest the use of PCA Skin Products whilst carrying out the Peels, however have a very strong desire to encourage Natural Beauty, therefore offer Tropic Skincare Line also as swear by there products, so you truly get that balance of affordable, Environmentally and Personally healthy Glow.

  • PRE TREATMENT ADVICE
All procedures include; Consultation; where expectation is set, procedure design and colours are discussed and agreed; Procedure, and a Follow Up procedure 4-6 weeks after the first Patch tests containing Pigment and Topical Anesthetic will be sent out or given to you to complete over 24 hours, no less than 24 hours before your appointment. The White Room to be informed of any adverse results incurred All medical forms are electronic, therefore sent out and completed/ returned over email. All initial Procedures can take up to 3 Hours, with the follow up procedure taking between 1-2 hours It is advised to not drink alcohol 24 hours before or after a procedure as can effect pigment retention. Once the procedure is complete, it is likely you may experience some swelling, and/ or redness to the skin. You should be able to resume your normal activities immediately following the procedure, however strongly advised not to apply any makeup or touch the area as risk of infection Once the pigment is implanted in the skin, the colour will fade over time as only implanted in the epidermis layer of the skin, however accept that there may be residue pigment under the skin indefinitely Results can vary from individual to individual, dependant on a number of factors, namely; the skill of the technician, the colour pigment blended with skin tone, shape and position of facial features, any medication taken, skin characteristics, the PH balance of the skin, diet, alcohol intake, smoking or aftercare (Lip Procedures Only) may stimulate any dormant viruses in the lips, mouth or surrounding areas. If prone, it is advised to take Antivirus tablets for a few days prior to and post Permanent make up procedures. Talk to me at your consultation. (Eye Procedures Only) may stimulate dormant eye conditions or infections. Treatment is unsuitable if you are currently applying any prescribed medication to treat an eye condition, as this will affect absorption of the pigment and cause unnecessary trauma. (Eye Procedures Only) If you use a Lash Serum, this needs to be stopped two weeks prior to your appointment and only reccommenced once the procedure is fully healed. It draws blood to the surface of the skin, therefore will effect retention and the procedure duration due to the skin being a little thinner in that area. Want to know about AFTERCARE?
  • EYEBROWS
Permanent Makeup Eyebrows are the most talked about and popular procedure, however also most misunderstood. Gone are the days of Blue/ Black ink tattooed in by a tattooist, the effects that can be created with much finer Pigments and delicate colours and needles is growing day by day. I can offer Hairstrokes, Ombre Powder or a Combination of both, to offer you Individuality, longevity and ease. Perfectly designed brows to your facial structure, skin tone and colouring and skin type, will last 12-18 months if the correct procedure for your skin type has been applied and aftercare followed to the letter. Digital machine method Brows are considered Permanent as they rarely will fade to nothing, however will require a colour Boost roughly annually, personal to you, to freshen them up, of which is discounted if your a returning customer. •Appointment Duration: Initial appointment 3 hours, this time includes the consultation if you prefer to do it at the same appointment as the Initial Procedure. I can offer a 30 minute consultation prior if youd prefer. Top up appointment 4-6 weeks later 90 minutes. • Down Time: Your brows may feel slightly sore shortly after the procedure, its reccomended to not get your eyebrows wet at all in the first two weeks and avoid physical activity for the first 5-7 days. • Back to Work: The same day, however your brows are at their darkest on the day of the procedure, to day 2-3 when they will scab and seem dry for 5-7 days. During this time your Permanent Mayeup need to be kept completely dry. • Duration of Results: Approx 1 year before a colour boost is required. Some people like to keep their brows prestine, so return after 9-10 months, some will go 18-24 months. • Anesthetic: ✔️ It is reccomended that you obtain an aneasthetic cream from the Pharmasist, that you can apply 30-60 minutes prior to your appointment. But we can discuss this at your consultation. • Results seen: Immediately, however the skin will renew over the pigment and replenish after it has scabbed over from Day 3, so some pigment may take 3-4 weeks to show back through. A second procedure is carried out to to replace any last pigment from the healing phase and tweak the colour and shape as required.
  • EYES
An Eyelash Enhancement is the placement of pigment along the top lash line, from the first to the last along the eye and as wide as your lash rows allow. It is prodominantly applied with a soft Black pigment, which subtly adds definition to the eye and creates the illusion of thicker lashes. A further finer pigment line can be run through the lower lashes, however often a softer colour to add a delicate finish, or a colour to draw out the colour of your eyes. It sounds very 80s, but when chosen right, the lower lash line is not strikingly defining, its not an obvious thick line, but shows off your eyes and adds a soft hue of colour. The Flick Liner starts off its life as a Lash Enhahncement, however a thicker line and/ or delicate flick is added to the upper lash line , in a shape to compliment your eye shape. It can be designed to lengthen, or widen your eye and really offers you the thicker lashes/ defined eye. This procedure is PERFECT with a Lash Lift, to provide a ultimate wake up and dont make up effect... once the Lash Enhancement is healed of course! •Appointment Duration: Initial appointment 3 hours, Top up appointment 4-6 weeks later 1-2 hours. • Down Time: Your eyes may feel sore and tight from a little swelling the evening and next day. Anti-histamine and anti-inflammatory tablets are beneficial if you are able to take them. • Back to Work: The next day, however your eyes may feel sore, so if possible a day off the next day is beneficial. It is reccommended that a new mascara is used if necessary, to avoid cross contamination. • Duration of Results: approx 2 years before a colour boost is required • Anesthetic: ✔️ It is reccomended that you obtain an aneasthetic cream from the Pharmasist, that you can apply 30-60 minutes prior to your appointment. But we can discuss this at your consultation. • Results seen: Immediately, however the skin will scab slightly (possibly not noticable) over the pigment and skin will replenish over a week. Some pigment may take 4-6 weeks to show back through and settle in colour.
  • LIPS
A Lip Blush is Pigment placed along the Lip Line, which graduates as a fading blush in to the lip body. It’s a modern day lip liner, that starts, but you don’t see the thick line as it fades to nothing by the mid lip. A Full Lip Colour, is the same density of lip colour from the lip line right through the lip body. It is the same subtle pop of colour, however without the gradual fade like the Lip Blush, offering a more noticeable definition. This procedure is massively underrated. The effect initially looks very dark, however will fade to a soft hue of colour, 50-60% lighter, that adds lost pigment around the lip, which instantly adds volume and shape. It is great for lipstick that bleeds as offers a perfect line and is the most raved about procedure when those that have had it done wake up and instantly feel brighter and more confident with a subtle pop of colour. You will of course know you have had the procedure, but it is honestly that subtle, that no one else will notice anything more than you look youthful and radiant with a pop of colour 24/7 … once healed, of course! If you have a favourite go-to lip colour, it is encouraged that you bring it along to match the colour/ tone that your familiar with and obviously enjoy. • Appointment Duration: Initial appointment 3 hours, Top up appointment 6-8 weeks later 90 minutes. • Down Time: Your lips are likely to be swollen and will feel sore and tight the evening and next day. Anti-histamine and anti-inflammatory tablets are beneficial if you are able to take them Anti-Histamines are recommended 2 days before and after the procedure. If you suffer with cold sores, the chances are they will be encouraged with this procedure so you may not be suitable. It is recommended that a cold sore cream or preferably tablets are taken leading up to and post the procedure to reduce severity. The lips scab from Day 3 and will peel until day 5-7, however this is superficial, the healing process is not at all sore. • Back to Work: The next day, however your lips may feel sore, so if possible a day off the next day is beneficial. A lip balm is given, however if you are conscious of the healing/ peeling phase, it is advised that they may take a week to shed, with balm application reccomended 4-6 times a day. • Duration of Results: approx 2 years before a colour boost is required • Anaesthetic: ✔ It is reccomended that you obtain an aneasthetic cream from the Pharmasist, that you can apply 30-60 minutes prior to your appointment. But we can discuss this at your consultation. • Results seen: Immediately, however the skin will scab over the pigment and skin will replenish over a week. Some pigment may take 4-6 weeks to show back through and settle in colour.
